Enjoy The Great Outdoors

Be sure to plan some time for guests to get outside and enjoy the property. There's nothing better than a few hours of fresh mountain air to help rejuvenate the soul. With over 250 acres to explore, you'll definitely want to include some recreation time in your schedule.

The Lakes

The lakes at Strong Rock are beautiful places for activities or peace and quiet. Adams Lake is used in the warmer months for swimming, blobbing, ziplining, canoeing and hanging out on the beach. Laurel Lake is stocked with plenty of fish just waiting to be caught. Bring your own fishing gear and enjoy one of the best catch-and-release lakes around.

The Gym
Our gym is available for groups wishing to play basketball or other large group games where indoor space is needed. We also have an indoor climbing wall on one end of the gym for groups who would like to participate in rock climbing.

The Fields
Two large playing fields ensure that there is plenty of space for groups to organize soccer, football, frisbee or similar afternoon adventures. Our fields are large enough for most any game you could imagine.

The Shooting Ranges
Many groups spend part of their time on our shooting ranges. Whether you are interested in archery, riflery, handguns or skeet shooting, we have certified instructors available to lead these activities for your group. Archery and riflery are open to all age groups. Handguns and skeet shooting are available only to our adult groups.

The Campfire Area
No camping weekend would be complete without a campfire, so be sure to schedule one for your group. Those looking to have a meaningful service by the fire will enjoy our campfire circle down by Laurel Lake, complete with ampitheater seating for 200 people. Folks looking for a bonfire suitable for roasting marshmallows and telling stories may use the campfire area or our portable fire pit set up at the beach or gym.  Regardless, there is nothing quite like a good campfire to get you in the spirit of a camp retreat.
