James and Daniel have started the process of interviewing and hiring staff for the upcoming summer. We are super excited about the folks returning to fill our head staff positions, so we wanted to introduce them to you all over the next week or so.
Our first two posts will feature our Program Directors. This position is responsible for keeping our skill classes running smoothly and planning all of our campwide events and tribal competitions.
Drumroll please…. Filling the female slot of the PD position is former staffer Sara “Nike” 
Walcott. Sara is returning for her third summer at Strong Rock and has been a very solid role model and staffer working with our older girls the past two summers. Sara is currently a junior at Berry College majoring in Economics. She is also a member of the cross country team at Berry where she is turning in some of the fastest times of her career this season. Sara also holds the position of Executive Editor of the Business Journal on campus.
Summer after summer, Sara has always exceeded our expectations and has consistently brought new ideas and energy to camp. She is excited to embrace the challenge of the Program Director position and has already been brainstorming some new games for this summer. We feel very blessed to have Sara return again and look forward to her input in this key leadership role.
