And the Hiring Continues

As promised, we wanted to fill you all in on the latest update from the hiring front at Strong Rock.  The other day we told you that Sara “Nike” Walcott would be joining the head staff team as a Program Director this summer.  If you have been at camp before, you know that we hire 2 program directors each summer.

So, without further delay, Program Director #2 will be….

Thomas “T-Bone” Dunagan!!!T-Bone

Thomas is actually returning for his 2nd consecutive summer in this role.  He filled this position last year and brought several great new games to camp as well as some new twists on old favorites.  Thomas loves camp and feels like this is his second home.  He has a strong drive to make camp as awesome as possible for all of the campers that come our way.

For Thomas (and us), returning to camp in this role is particularly exciting.  He learned a ton last year and looks forward to bringing all of that knowledge back to really blow us away this summer.

Thomas spent much of the off-season as a ski-instructor at Copper Mountain in Colorado, but is finally back home in Georgia, helping us out at camp with all sorts of random things.  While in Colorado, he started having visions of even more new campwide games to play at camp this summer, so he’s busy hammering out the details with Nike and planning some great stuff for this summer.

We’re pumped about both of these hires and are looking forward to a phenomenal summer under their leadership.  Tune in next week to hear who will be filling our Head Counselor roles!!

how old do you have to be to apply?

We prefer folks to have one year of college under their belt, but occasionally hire folks who have completed their senior year of high school.
