If you’ve never been to camp in the fall, you are missing a spectacular treat. The trees and landscape that we run through, hide in and call our home during the summer turn into a phenomenally beautiful backdrop for retreat guests visiting us throughout the autumn season. As I drove in to work this morning, the sky was blue and light was perfect for enjoying the fall colors. Though this video doesn’t do it justice, I wanted you all to see just how pretty camp looks during this season. It’s a little fast and not the best quality, but hopefully you can catch a glimpse of the color and imagine the beauty of it all. How could you not have a great day if this was part of your daily commute? As the leaves continue falling, know that we are still just as busy as can be. With winter approaching, the rental groups slow down a bit, but we are already hard at work recruiting staff and making plans for the summer of 2013. Applications from campers and staff alike are rolling in giving us excitement at what lies ahead. Be sure you are a part of summer # 9 here at Strong Rock. It just won’t be the same without you!
