Co-Ed Summer Camp

We know you have thought about it and it is a tough decision. Sending youth to a co-ed camp for the first time can be stressful and confusing. However, sending them to Strong Rock Camp for their first boy girl camp experience will set your mind at ease. Youth who attend Strong Rock Co Ed Summer Camp are learning how to interact and communicate in a diverse environment.

We hope that Strong Rock will be a place that kids and youth feel at home and continuously want to visit. With all of the distractions from the outside world away, Strong Rock Camp provides stability and comfort in a young person’s life. By participating in a co-ed summer camp they will learn to be supportive and work as a team in the real world. Strong Rock Camp employees strive to help youth and children use interpersonal skills in healthy ways. In our society, knowing how to communicate and be friends with someone of the opposite sex in a healthy way is crucial. Boundaries are set and very important at Strong Rock and supervision is always aplenty.

Sleeping Arrangements
Living in cabins and experiencing the lifestyle of sharing a room, bathroom, and living area are part of what Strong Rock believes in. Campers will share cabins with those of the same age and gender. They will learn teamwork, communication, interaction and social skills during this time. Respecting others and the living space each person shares helps kids understand responsibilities. Each of the cabins contains two counselors as well.
